TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
